I'll vote for that.....I have a registry also...and it makes me forty years younger or whatever age...lol..........who cares...but it would be nice for them to allow older collectors. My family dumps quite a bit of money on gifts for me every year.

We have commented and written to AG about this issue and others that we are asked the ages for whom we are purchasing the doll/outfits. We buy for my grandma who has Kirsten and loves her she'll be 90 this year. She never had a "nice" doll as a child since her parents both immigrated to the United States a couple years before she was born. We were told that the three collectors in our house are outside the target age range.
There are a large number of girls who started out it AG's target age range and still love our dolls we just haven't aged enough to have daughters of our own that we buy american girl or when we chose to buy outfits for our own dolls.

That's so sweet about your grandmother, Sparkygirl! My Kirsten sends hugs to her and her Kirsten.
Aside from being "out of target age range" ( ) I can see where grown-ups would be expected to buy their own doll clothes. Still, making a wishlist is a good idea; I might do that for my birthday, if my folks wouldn't be creeped out about it.
